I’m humbly informed and inspired by midwives, birth workers, women and people on the land I live and work on and beyond. I pay my respects to the traditional custodians of the land that I call home and their ancestors, past and present, as well as all Indigenous peoples of all lands that I, in some way, have been inspired by or learned from their traditional practices and skills.
